Hi! I'm Aliza Kate, but you might call me Liza. Since high school, I have actively pursued my dream of becoming a performer, singer, and songwriter. I joined online school for my in my sophomore year and had an opportunity to spend more time in performing arts than I could have during my public school. I fell in love with musical theatre starting at age 8 and remained committed until the end of high school. I was also attending acting classes singing lessons as well as piano lessons. So it was not surprising that I had so much to do! As a medical front-desk receptionist I worked there for about a year. It was a great feeling having the opportunity to meet those who came through the front doors and converse with them. My confidence was enhanced. I learned how to communicate via the telephone with individuals, and to help people understand topics that may not be pleasant for them. Being a receptionist during a time of a year allowed me to build organization skills as I needed to organize various procedures, consults and processes important paperwork and stay in charge of payments. As a child, I took care of two big dogs. My experience includes 8 years in dog-sitting as well as a short stint in a pet daycare before I was hired for the program I scheduled.
